That’s why he talked about them so much and went to them so often, something that was quite radical for a Jewish Rabbi of his day.   He greatly valued the beauty of what happens in this kind of space:  sharing great food; people letting their guards down; sharing stories of real life; connecting with new friends; just simply celebrating life together - all giving a glimpse of the Kingdom and the great party ahead for us in heaven.

Our hope is to simply throw a potluck party about every month to create a space where people can naturally grow in these kind of relational connections.  Here are some practical points to help you know what to expect.

  • The whole family is and all.  Just remember that you're still a parent and keep an eye on them.

  • Bring along a dish (hence the "potluck").  That will ensure that we will always have enough food for everyone.

  • Know that this is always a safe place to bring friends, neighbors, and co-workers.  It's for everyone!

  • For the safety and protection of each other and any friends in recovery, we ask to not bring alcohol.

  • If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact the host for each gathering.
